What were the lived experiences of women in the New World? In this investigation, students will learn about the ways that race, class, and gender intersected and influenced a person’s access to power and opportunity in colonial North America. Students write a counterargument that addresses the investigation’s central question: Was there a common experience for women in colonial North America?
